As an application support engineers oversee the installation and maintenance of software applications in order to streamline business operations. Their duties include optimizing software application performance, installing updates, and performing debugging procedures. They may be employed by companies, or work as freelance contractors.
Job responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot application errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Frequently advise the Engineering team on the true nature of the issue.
- Deliver timely and detailed communication to all parties regarding issues resolution.
- Consider both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users.
- Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly.
- Track support records and analyze data to identify patterns of common issues.
- Document actionable bugs for engineering resolution.
المتطلبات
The ideal candidate has exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills and the ability
to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. They would also be insanely focused on
demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving, breaking down complex
information into understandable and actionable items. You will be an active and contributory
member in People team, with a direct impact on the culture and business trajectory in your country.
Other qualifications include:
● 4+ years of experience in a progressively more responsible technical role
● BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent education plus relevant work experience.
● Experience in MySQL Database is a must
● Experience in .NET development or any OOP is a must
● Experience in Cloud Providers (AWS or Azure) is a plus
● Experience in Frontend frameworks like Angular 2+ is a plus
● Experience in DB Profiling and Optimization is a plus
● Experience in NoSQL DB is a plus
