عن الوظيفة
- Act as a key member of the data team by developing processes to collect, integrate, transform, and clean data from disparate databases.
- Build and maintain repeatable data pipelines/flows and ensure that are functioning efficiently.
- Design and implement data ingestion, data cleansing, ETL, and data mart creation that support our data scientists and business.
- Build data frameworks to automat methods for data extraction, quantitative analysis and reporting/business processes.
- Monitor and support data pipelines to honor internal and external SLA’s.
- Translate data needs into detailed functional and technical designs for development, testing and implementation.
Job responsibilities:
المتطلبات
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical field or equivalent work.
- Relevant knowledge or experience in similar position (1+ years of experience in similar position).
- Work experience with data ingestion and ETL/ELT (Open source tools are preferred).
- Experience developing data pipelines and workflows.
- Strong knowledge in designing and building data models.
- Prior experience with data warehouse development and data management.
- Advanced SQL knowledge/experience - complex queries and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages (Python is preferred).
- Nice to have experience/knowledge of Hadoop-based technologies such as HDFS, Kafka, Hive and Spark
- Experience processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
- The ability and willingness to learn new technologies on the job.
- Self driven, highly motivated, fast learner, ambitious and creative.
