Conducts focused educational/training needs assessments within specified targeted areas, designs, develops, delivers, and evaluates a range of responsive educational curricula and training programs within defined fields of expertise.
Job responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Delivers group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas in a specified field.
2. Develops training curricula and/or recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives.
3. Develop TOR and criteria related to training programs
4. Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
5. Selects or develops training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
6. Design, write and manage training curricula, lesson plan and implementation of trainings
7. Suggest and choose trainings appropriate for each training group and each location
8. Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
9. Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.
10. Assists in analyzing and assessing training and development needs for individuals, communities, and/or university departments.
11. Review instructor performance and recommend improvements to program content and/or instructor presentation methods; recruit, select, and train instructors.
12. May lead, guide, and train staff/student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.
13. Lead and design product ranges for all beneficiaries
14. Determine partners that can enhance outcomes for all Erada objectives in trainings
15. Manage the production, build up and follow up on the training and technical upskilling of beneficiaries and the community of disabilities as a whole
16. Manage the raw material and supply process and needs
17. Work with the full team to achieve results
18. Utilize all capabilities to enhance and improve the program outcomes
19. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. • Teaching and facilitation skills. • Ability to determine training objectives. • Organizing and coordinating skills. • Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology. • Skill in preparing instructional aids and plans. • Skill in writing curricula guidelines and manuals Distinguishing Characteristics a) implementation and facilitation of technical, operational, and/or specialty training events and programs; b) consultation and collaboration with individuals and different entities on complex training issues; c) assessment of training needs and objectives, and designing and developing responsive programs and initiatives; d) design and development of comprehensive training plans, curriculum, and aids. e) Creative problem solving and vision to avoid training problems and achieve training outcomes.
