Test Design & Coverage
Writes and executes test cases for features with advanced business functionality.
Creates test cases based on feature specifications and business logic, not only explicit requirements.
Ensures strong test coverage by designing comprehensive scenarios.
Identifies high-risk areas and focuses testing efforts accordingly.
Identifies flows that require regression testing.
2. Defect Analysis & Quality
Analyzes root causes of defects and discusses findings when needed.
Maintains a low rate of duplicate or invalid defect reports.
3. AI & Tool Utilization
Effectively uses AI tools to streamline test case creation, execution, and analysis.
Is familiar with test automation tools and understands when and how to apply them to improve efficiency and coverage.
4. Estimation & Planning
Accurately estimates effort for test design and execution, including task-based and regression testing.
Proactively tracks testing activities, deadlines, and scope.
5. Collaboration & Communication
Actively participates in sprint ceremonies to identify gaps and ensure clarity.
Requires limited guidance and support.
Begins sharing knowledge and providing guidance to less experienced team members.
