We need to add to our team a creative and innovative product designer and developer member. A product design and developer manages the process of developing a product or enhancing existing products in order to meet customer expectations effectively. Product developers conduct research, develop proposals, and supervise the design process.
Job responsibilities:
Product Design & Development Responsibilities:
• Creating and enhancing products that fill a niche in the market or allow their clients to remain competitive.
• Determining product specifications according to a number of various factors and uses.
• Supporting manufacturing and design activities by developing prototypes for products in development.
• Consulting market research materials and sales data to ensure that products are viable and competitive.
• Submitting proposals and designs for evaluation by the project team and management before moving to the next stage.
• Identify opportunities for new products
• Analyze how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences
• Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners
• Research materials and techniques
• Sketch drafts on paper or digitally
• Produce prototypes and test functionality and ensure proper production
المتطلبات
Product Design & Development Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field • Proven working experience as a product developer or in a related field. (1 -2 year) • Be comfortable using prototyping equipment and tools • Be comfortable using design software • Work well within a team. • Creative and innovative thinking skills. • Design thinking skills • Problem-solving skills. • Be creative with an eye for shape and color • Understand different materials and production methods • Have technical, practical and scientific knowledge and ability • Be interested in the way people choose and use products. • Can research and trends in shapes and colors and other needed data to build a strong collection for the organization programs • Is capable of working with a wide range of materials and products • Can support any designs needed by the organization • Can handle photography whenever needed is a plus The product developer will mainly work with hand made heritage products of Egypt using multi disciplinary techniques
