عن الوظيفة
The Technical Designer helps us to take our designs from a concept to a
manufacturer product through discussing the fabrics, creating the Size
chart, drawing flat sketches, fitting samples, commenting, and reviewing the
brand collection.
Job responsibilities:
New Collection Review
● Discuss designs with the fashion designer to make practical compromises.
● Coordinate with Fashion Designer the needed (Colors, Styles, and fabrics).
Draft and Measurements
● Draft Technical (Flat) Drawings with the Editing Programs.
● Define the style (cut, cut measurement, fabrics, and Stitches).
● Draft initial sketches for approval.
● Create the final design sketch with setting-up all measurements.
● Create a size chart for the new collection.
Supplier’s Samples Review and Manufacture
● Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to produce samples of the design.
● Analyze the sample measurement through fitting, and check if there are any defects.
● Oversees the fitting of the samples, and starts setting up the items on their size schedule.
● Review all product samples and comment on the (Color, Fabrics, Stitching), and any requested printings.
● Follow-up with confirmation emails on the (size chart, measurements, and stitching).
Inspect final product for quality.
المتطلبات
Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts
+2 years of experience in a similar role.
Computer Skills:
Advanced skills in using Microsoft office; word, excel, and PowerPoint.
Advanced skills in using Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Language Ability:
High proficiency of Arabic and English Languages; Ability to interpret,
analyze, and write reports.
