Role Objective
To professionally manage multi-functional technical projects requested within the IT department to ensure the high quality of the deliverables and their alignment to the PM methodology & processes and ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

 Main Responsibilities
 1.      Manages Technical Projects assigned to him/her.

 2.      Efficiently manages the complex and multi-functional projects in IT department.

 3.      Share in creating the Impact Analysis document covering all impacted teams/systems including non-IT ones.

 4.      Share in preparing detailed business impacts during different project phases/stages.

 5.      Responsible for business communication and ensuring minimizing business impacts.

 6.      Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of his assigned projects.

7.      Participate in the kick off planning for assigned projects to communicate projects objectives and announce start up. 

8.      Implements different projects review in accordance with methodology to ensure successful execution of the project as measured by the project agreed KPI’s within the project charter. 

9.      Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.

10.   Serves as key participant in team and customer meetings.

11.   Raises visibility of the superiors and peers through reporting of program progress, risks, issues, conflicts.

12.   Confronts issues openly and quickly.

13.   Tactfully communicates sensitive information to stakeholders.

14.   Keep and track all issues during the project execution time and share lessons learned and best practices.

15.   Works in conjunction with vendors account management to follow up across projects with full alignment with his manager & IT management. 

16.   Regularly prepares, reviews and communicate the status reports of projects and addresses issues/risks as appropriate. If needed, do the same for projects steering level committees. 

17.   Proactively manage changes in projects scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. 

18.   Complies with and enforces standard policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential Qualifications and Experience 

B.Sc. in engineering/IT related ( if not, post graduate diploma/study in IT is mandatory)

Minimum 10+ years demonstrated track Technical PM practice and not less than 8 years practice in IT/Technology. 

Area of experience: IT/ Project Management 

Deep experience in IT Infrastructure experience in operation, asset management, configuration management, OS and H/W management. 

Excellent Computer skills, MS project & MS office 

Excellent in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).  

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Telecommunication Technical Systems awareness PMP or equivalent Project management experience

Desirable: Business Awareness (Telecommunication & IT)
