Senior Project Manager – Marine / Maritime Projects
Job Description
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale marine and maritime projects from initiation to completion. The role involves strategic planning, stakeholder management, risk control, and execution of complex projects related to marine operations, ports, shipyards, offshore, and coastal infrastructure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, budget, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of hands-on experience managing marine or maritime projects
- Strong knowledge of marine construction methods, offshore operations, and port infrastructure
- Proven experience in managing large budgets and complex schedules
- Expertise in project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, etc.)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent understanding of HSE, quality, and compliance standards in marine projects
- Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
