About the Role
· As a Senior Automation Engineer you will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the creation of scalable, secure, and reliable automated and performance tests and frameworks.
· You will collaborate and contribute to defining standard for test automation with stakeholders to determine the appropriate level of test automation and quality of delivery service.
· Your role includes designing and developing tests automation suites contributing to, and integrating into CI/CD toolchains.
· Collaborate with development teams and define continuous integration approach; Participate in its implementation.
· Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for APIs, web and mobile applications.
· Excellent knowledge in software testing skills.
· Analyzing user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
· Good understanding of agile methodologies.
· Troubleshoot found problems, investigate root causes, and provide comprehensive test reports and analysis of the test results.
· Monitor and improve the testing process to achieve the superior quality of the solutions
· Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
· Ensure compliance with general software testing best practices, accepted web standards and those standards set forth by upstream sources.
Requirements
·· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or software/computer engineering or similar.
4+ years of experience in the Software Quality.
· Minimum 2+ Years of hands-on exposure in Rest Assured.
· Develop Test Framework for API's and Front end/Backend testing.
· Conducting and solving complex integration test cases.
· Expertise in API testing automation with strong programming skills.
· Proficiency in OOPS concept (Java)
· Excellent knowledge of Agile and Scrum.
· Previous experience with the performance testing is a plus.
