About the Role
This is a remote position.
· Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
· Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
· Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
· Integration of data storage solutions.
· Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications.
· Build REST APIs to serve mobile apps.
· Write UI & Unit tests to optimize performance.
· Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
· Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
· Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
· Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
· Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
· Taking lead on projects, as needed.

Job responsibilities:
Requirements
· 0 to 5 years of web development experience
· Good understanding of software engineering concepts
· Decent problem solving, algorithms, and research skills
· Knowledge of common web technologies
· Knowledge of Node.js, Javascript, HTML and CSS
· Familiarity with AWS services is a plus
