About the Role
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration and fuzzy testing.
- Help in the investigation and response to security incidents.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs to identify potential threats.
Requirements
- B.S. in computer engineering, computer science or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience
- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Network security concepts
- Understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP, UDP and MQTT
- Web applications security and vulnerabilities
- Mobile applications security and vulnerabilities
- Penetration testing (using tools like NMap, Metasploit or any equivalent tool)
- Background in binary exploits (Buffer overflow, use after free etc...)
- Security Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
- Problem-solving and root-cause analysis
- Result-oriented
- Ability to learn
