About the Role
- Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts and equipment.
- Monitor and manage building systems and safety equipment (e.g., fire alarms, sprinklers, security systems).
- Maintain inventory of maintenance tools and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
- Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, and workspace modifications.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other departments when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and systems maintained.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in facility or building maintenance.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities as required.
