About the Role
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. He /She should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications He /She should be comfortable coding in several languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.
Job responsibilities:
- Interact with the product team to understand product requirements.
- Participate in product design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
- Suggest functionality improvements based on usability standards.
- Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems.
- Develop automated tests, conduct unit tests, integrations tests and performance tuning.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Computer Science or any related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in the same position
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to details.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- English is a must (you should be able to communicate effectively in an English-speaking environment)
- Understanding of the micro services architecture, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with E-Commerce and FinTech industry is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in developing web services using JEE/Java/Spring in relation to APIs.
- 3+ years of experience in Java / Spring / Mybatis / Wicket.
- Experience with JSON, XML, SOAP, and Client-Server communication.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and use of JDBC.
