About the Role
-Create and enforce safety policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
-Conduct risk assessments and safety analyses to mitigate workplace hazards.
-Perform regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
-Lead investigations into incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
-Conduct safety training, drills, and simulations for employees and contractors.
-Monitor environmental practices, manage waste, and ensure compliance with environmental laws.
-Develop and implement emergency plans, coordinate drills, and work with emergency services.
-Work with other departments to integrate safety into business operations and advise management on safety improvements.
-Ensure adherence to local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
-Maintain and inspect equipment and spare parts to meet safety standards.
-Lead safety culture development and continuous improvement efforts.
-Oversee safe storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
-Ensure availability and proper use of PPE and inspect safety equipment regularly.
-Manage internal/external HSE audits and report on safety performance and improvements.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
-2+ years in HSE with regulatory compliance experience.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
-Background in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.Expertise in safety regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
-Skilled in risk assessment, hazard identification, and emergency planning.
-Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
-Data analysis for improving safety programs.
-Effective verbal communication and safety training delivery.
-Strong report-writing skills.
-Efficient handling of multiple safety tasks and meeting deadlines.
