About the Role
Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT systems and network infrastructure.
Contribute to the implementation and management of cybersecurity protocols and tools.
Participate in identifying and analysing potential security vulnerabilities.
Assist with security audits and risk assessments.
Help develop and maintain security documentation and procedures.
Provide technical support to employees on IT and security-related issues.
Assist in the deployment and configuration of hardware and software.
Contribute to data backup and recovery processes.
Conduct research on emerging IT trends and cybersecurity threats.
Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams on various projects and initiatives.
Document work and findings clearly and concisely.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong interest in both Information Technology and Cybersecurity.
Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and security principles.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS), and basic security concepts (firewalls, antivirus).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
