About the Role
Junior/Associate Software Test
Job responsibilities:
Good understanding of testing phases and approaches
Experience working with mobile, and web applications
Experience in reviewing the requirements adding acceptance criteria for user stories
Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases on given functional user
stories
Execute and evaluate manual test cases, and report test results and test metric
results
Experienced with a deep understanding of various types of testing methodologies
(e.g.Smoke, Functional, Acceptance, and Regression)
Experience in creating and executing a test plan
Experience defining bugs/defects
Experience in API testing especially REST
Basics of any programming language like Java and/or Js/Python
Willing to learn automation (Preferred to have base knowledge)
Familiar with basic SQL commands to extract data for tests and investigating issues
Familiarity with Jira or any other ALM tool
Report bugs to the development team
Help troubleshoot issues
Participate in root cause analysis
Participate in impact analysis of new requirements or changes
Worked before in an Agile development environmen
Requirements
Not more than 3 years or less than 1
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Information
Technology specialization.
Analytical and methodical, using evidence to solve problems.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Solid testing mentality.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and out of the box thinker as
well.
