About the Role
Responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, research, and learning framework of the Project. will develop a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by the Project. will provide technical assistance to the implementing sections, particularly in relation to monitoring, reporting and governance issues.
• Develop Monitoring framework for the new project.
• Assist in designing the implementation plan with project management team.
• Ensure that implementation plan support the logical framework objective.
• Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output.
• Recommend further improvement of the logical framework.
• Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
• Monitor the sustainability of the project's results.
• Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities.
• Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of
• the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
• Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the top management & Project Manager.
• Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system Develop indicators and a monitoring strategy for the project.
• Provide inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports to Project Management Team.
• Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project Manager in preparing relevant reports.
• Assist in coordinating across the available components of the Project to ensure effective implementation of M&E.
Job responsibilities:
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in political science, economics, public policy, or a closely related field. Professional experience in M&E position responsible for implementing M&E activities. Proven experience in designing, implementing and operating programs’ M&E system from program inception to closeout. Very good Microsoft office skills Advanced writing skills Excellent interpersonal skills Experience at least 3-5 years preferably in NGOs, international organizations, research institutions.
