Job purpose: The network security specialist will work in the implementation, and maintenance of our organization's network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work on developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and technologies.
Job Description: ▪Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's information assets. ▪Deploy, and maintain secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security technologies. ▪Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies in the network security field and provide recommendations for new security solutions as needed. ▪Maintaining security infrastructure: The network security operations specialist is responsible for maintaining the security infrastructure of the network, including firewalls, and other security tools. They also ensure that all security patches and updates are installed in a timely manner. ▪Maintaining documentation: The network security operations specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all security incidents, policies, and procedures. They may also prepare reports for management and other stakeholders.
