About the Role
PKI & Certificate Management
- Manage Remote Signing services to ensure secure and seamless digital signing capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., WebTrust, NIST, ISO 27001, ETSI).
- Implement best practices for certificate lifecycle management, key management, and revocation processes.
- Monitor and maintain Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for secure key storage and cryptographic operations.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry frameworks related to cryptographic trust services.
- Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Define and manage incident response processes for PKI-related security incidents.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of PKI engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and oversee the implementation of new PKI solutions and upgrades.
- Collaborate with IT and security departments to integrate PKI services into enterprise systems.
- Engage with external vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies for compliance reviews and service improvements.
Operations & Monitoring
- Monitor PKI infrastructure health, performance, and logs to detect anomalies and ensure continuous availability.
- Establish disaster recovery and backup strategies for PKI services.
- Ensure high availability of Remote Signing solutions with minimal downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in PKI management, cryptographic solutions, or IT security.
- Strong knowledge of Root CA, Subordinate CA, Certificate Policies (CP), and Certification Practice Statements (CPS).
- Hands-on experience with HSMs, smart cards, digital signatures, and remote signing technologies.
- Familiarity with standards like X.509, TLS/SSL, OCSP, and CRL management.
- Solid understanding of eIDAS, ETSI standards.
- Certifications such as CISM or PKI-related vendor certifications.
