About the Role
Bachelor's in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace or UAV industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including composite manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing.
- Knowledge of CATIA software design tool.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills to adequately analyze manufacturing needs from equipment selection to the detailed lean process flows required for both low and high volume manufacturing
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for aerospace manufacturing, is desirable. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong working knowledge of the latest manufacturing engineering and related product design practices with a familiarity in Lean and Kaizen activities
- Excellent knowledge of Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Excellent knowledge of root cause/corrective action processes and techniques
