About the Role
Collaborate with the product manager, UX/UI designer, data/ML engineers, and iOS developers to build and improve backend features.
Design and implement software components according to the specifications.
Ensure application designs conform with business goals.
Develop and test software.
Identify and resolve any technical issues arising.
Job responsibilities:
Requirements
BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field. 2-3 years of experience in Java programming “backend” is a must. Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js) Experience with web infrastructure, distributed systems, and performance analysis. Experience in developing on a DBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, and NoSQL like MongoDB, and DynamoDB. Experience with AWS technologies. Application deployment using containers (e.g., Docker) is a plus. Familiar with data landscape on AWS, i.e. data storage (S3), compute (EC2/Lambda). Hands-on experience in building scalable microservice-based architecture, database design, development, and data modeling. Experience with SCRUM development methodology Experienced in using git-like version control Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) Solid Knowledge of Design Patterns.
