About the Role
Job Summary:
As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining system integrations that facilitate seamless operations across various platforms. You will focus on creating robust and scalable solutions. A strong preference is given to candidates with experience using WSO2 for integration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop integration solutions using WSO2 Integration Suite (WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, WSO2 API Manager, etc.).
Implement APIs, microservices, and other integration components to connect internal and external systems.
Ensure the integrity and consistency of data across integrated systems.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration needs and specifications.
Monitor and maintain existing integrations to ensure continuous operation and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues promptly.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements to integration solutions.
Prepare detailed technical documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, configuration settings, and operational procedures.
Ensure all integration processes are well-documented for future reference and training purposes.
Work closely with development teams, IT departments, and third-party vendors to facilitate smooth integration.
Participate in project planning, progress meetings, and code reviews to ensure high-quality integration solutions.
Ensure that integration solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly those relevant to microfinance.
Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity of integrated systems.
Technical Skills:
1. Proficiency with WSO2 Integration Suite (WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, WSO2 API Manager, etc.).
Strong understanding of SOA, microservices, and API management.
Experience with integration technologies and patterns (e.g., REST, SOAP, message queues, ESB).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
Familiarity with databases and data integration tools.
Preferred Experience:
1. Prior experience working in the microfinance or financial services sector.
2. Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, OpenShift) for integration solutions.
Knowledge of security standards and practices related to financial data integration.
