About the Role
Develop, implement, test, debug and provide technical support for reporting and information extraction tasks within the scope of Orange DWH & application reporting area.
Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for the DW and business intelligence and reporting all development functionalities using all available extracting, reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Support the End Users to better work with their related applications.
- Document all reporting changes and modifications and all development activities.
- Monitor queries performance and outputs quality and sustain quality throughout all activities.
- Ensure deadlines for delivering input for internal and external reports are always respected.
- Ensure dispatching all reports and/or queries result to their distribution list.
- Support business domains when they receive the access to run their reports directly from the DWH and/or BSCS reporting server.
- Sustain an acceptable response to user reporting requirements (Reports, data extraction)
- Update constantly DWH and information systems skills, experience and competencies.
- Develop required reports and presentation interfaces for Orange information systems.
- Respond to information requirements and business needs following procedures and workflow and enforce their usage.
- Automate information and reporting processes.
- Responsible for testing the performance of any developed module (extraction, scripting, reports...)
- Provide feedback about end user application data cleanliness and maintain the applications metadata.
- Support juniors and teammates and act as a role model.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering major or an equivalent degree
- Experience in SQL is a must.
- Database knowledge is a must.
- Awareness of Office and desktop applications (word, excel, etc).
- Awareness of reporting tools is an asset (BO, IBM DataStage, Toad, SQL Assistant, Dashboard).
- Work experience in telecommunication environment is an asset.
- Fluent in English both spoken & written.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team
- Results oriented with high ability to deliver tasks.
Experience:
- 3 - 4 years of experience, 2 of which in information systems and business intelligence.
