About the Role
Handle all PDH day to day activities within the Access Network Transmission department and quality review, implementing IP access network to cope with the 4th Generation.
Follow up and Support both RAN support & Optimization for better quality of sites from TX prospective (unstable sites, IP problem . etc ).
Job responsibilities:
- Supervise all transmission activities related to Access network transmission links (NEC - Ericsson LDN-Vsat and Trip Play).
- Supporting all MIND projects (TDM - IP) links with multi-vendors using the latest microwave technology.
- Approve major and urgent actions received from different technology teams after assessing risk and priorities.
- Analyze and Report any violation in the vendors performance and handle all cases related to NTRA.
- Review plans, prepares and reviews technical specifications of the problems.
- Perform high level acceptance tests for all TX network elements with the supplier for any new network element.
- Develop technical specifications, providing direction and guidance.
- Follow up with supplier all pending tickets and ensure optimum SLA achieved.
- Prepare the job plan in-advance depending-on what is received from direct manager.
- Provide engineering/technical expertise &guidance in the identification of the problem.
- Analyze repeated problems and find the appropriate solution with (Vendor &NMS system logs).
- Act as a source of technical information, role model for new staff within the team.
- Analyze and Report problems, based on technical experience to the top management to support any decision makin
Business Cases Development.
- Technical validation for Orange data solutions and cost model review.
- Perform new trials and proof of concept validation with MW vendors.
- Co-ordinate and follow up all transmission modernization initiatives for network agility.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Tele-communication and Electronics Engineering.
- Ability to work under stress.
- Good problem solving skills.

- Very good communication skills.
- Good knowledge for transmission system, GSM /UMTS/LTE.
- Good knowledge for IP(mapping and concept).
