About the Role
- No specific store keeping qualifications required (local training provided).
- Successful completion of high school or equivalent training course, carried out by Training institutes that are certified and approved by internationally recognized organizations.
- Fluency in oral/written English essential.
- High degree of computer literacy and numerical skills and a competent user of all Microsoft applications or holds a certificate of ICDL.
- 3 years related stock keeping experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 year experience within a maintenance environment.
- Experience in / knowledge of:
1) Use of store forms and applications.
2) Applicable safety precautions for handling hazardous and flammable materials.
3) Materials management and inventory control methods and procedures.
4) Shipping and receiving practices.
5) Basic computer operation and inventory management software applications.
- Fork Lift Truck driving experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- General supply chain management training.
- ORACLE Information System Training.
- On-the-Job Training (as required).
