Biography
Abdelrahman is experienced Research & Development and Sustinability expert with proven record of achievementsin different multinationl companies and roles, example: the Head of Sustinability & ESG R&D East Region "Russia, Poland, Middle East, Africa & Turkey" at The Kraft Heinz Company, he has more than 1 3 years of experience in R&D FMCG within Food industry in multinational companies; Nestlé, Beyti JV of PepsiCo & Almarai and Americana Farm Frites. A part time Lecturer at Cairo University faculty of agriculture since 2016 till now teaching Product Development & Marketing for undergrad and master's degree students, he is an external speaker at AUC for Food Chemistry Masters students Beside the professional career, Abdelrahman is one of the Founders of Food Tricks, a social media initiative, which is targeting increasing the awareness of food safety and hygiene in Egypt. Abdelrahman is MBA holder in Global Business from Paris Business School ESLSCA and holds B.Sc.degree in Food Science from Cairo University and He is certified sensory panel from Belgium and Germany, is a certified Statistics for Total Quality Management from AUC, Project Management from Brooklyn Academy USA in Cairo. He was exposed to various scopes related to R&D like Innovations, New Product Development, Consumer Behaviour, Market Reasearch, Purchasing and Supplier Auditing and Development, He has been awarded 6 times for the sales achievements for the innovation launches and value engineering & cost-effective projects and he was responsible for launching more than 60 new Brands/Product Portfolios in local and global markets especially Middle East, Europe & Turkey across many products categories like fried, frozen products, baby food and infant formula, milk powder and nutritions, beverages, dairy and finaly sauces and culinary. He was recognized as subject matter expert in Innovations & Renovations technical validation, consumer validation and NPD projects management.
