About the Role
The Learning and Development is a shared function in Aspire. That is why it deals with the
three Business Units (Corporate Department, Community Department and Youth
Department). The L&D team manages two major functions, development of the training
content and the delivery of the training. The Coordinator will play an integral role on the
L&D team by tracking logistics, communicating across departments.
The Coordinator will work closely with trainers, training developers and all the account
managers. This position reports to the L&D Deputy Manager.
Job responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Resource Planning
• Orient relevant team members on the resource planning process to ensure smooth
operations
• Receive all resource planning requests from all business units
• Assign internal trainers to the delivery of client training programs
• Update trainers with their training schedule
• Resolve allocation conflicts as they arise with the delivery departments
• Develop training delivery analysis report for the resource plan on a month basis
Trainers/ Facilitators
• Coordinate the recruitment process of full time and part time
Trainer/Developers/Facilitators ensuring the availability of the required resources
according to department standards
• Update external trainers/facilitators database
Manage the annual process of updating Trainer/Facilitator rates in conjunction with the
L&D Deputy Manager and Head of Department
• Support in the recruitment process of full time and part time Trainer /Facilitators
ensuring the availability of the required resources according to department standards
• Receive trainings evaluations from project managers
• Plan & coordinate all department’s TOTs
Operations Management
• Coordinate and Plan the department monthly meetings/retreats in collaboration with
the L&D Deputy Manager
• Develop and manage the department’s annual budget, payments, expenses and
purchases and all logistical arrangements in conjunction with the L&D Deputy Manager
• Keep track of the updated training curriculum
• Manage any other operational department task
Design & Development of Training Programs/Simulations
• Design and development of various training topics
• Tailor existing training topics
• Develop Training activities
Requirements
• Experience in areas of learning and development, logistics, event planning and
coordination
• Strong attention-to-detail with the proven ability to problem-solve, think critically
and leverage the right resources when needed
• Good knowledge of excel sheets
• Engage others through oral and written communication
• Good project management skills with the proven ability to manage multiple
workflows, meet deadlines and support others
• Demonstrated ability to navigate through ambiguity and maintain flexibility in
changing environments
